New York Portrait and Brand Photographer
If you would have told me years ago that I’d be a full time photographer running my own business, I probably wouldn’t believe you.
And not because I didn’t think I’d be successful.
But because my idea of success was more like getting a solid 9-5 in the creative field that paid really well. Being my own boss wasn’t even a thought in that little ambitious head of mine.
My Story (but quick)
I was born and raised in The Bronx, NY. I always had a camera in my hand growing up, but interestingly enough, I always wanted to be a screenwriter and run my own tv show. That’s why when I got accepted to NYU Tisch, I took a ton of screenwriting classes under my film major. Little did I know that after college (well, after my corporate job phase) I would slowly start getting gigs here and there to do shoots and events. I tried to focus only on video, since that’s what I was most comfortable with. But the amount of photography inquires I received made me realize that I was missing out on a huge opportunity.
So I started taking photos too.
Just a few months later, Lens of Her was born.
