Maddie Kertay is the BadAss Quilter and she is the founder of the BadAss Quilters Society - a vibrant community of nearly 40-THOUSAND politically liberal quilters, crafters and knitters. For over 10 years she has spoken daily to her community members bringing together her passion for diversity, equity, inclusion and reproductive rights with the wide range of sewing and creative arts. Maddie is the mother of 6, the grandmother of 2 and sort of "a-lot" but in the best and most fierce way possible.
