Speaker Bio
Karla Gerome, Executive of Education at Grace Company, has been quilting nearly her entire life. She learned the craft from her mother at a young age and quickly developed a passion for both quilting and teaching others.
Karla spent time working and teaching at Mormon Handicraft before joining Grace Company, founded by her brother Jim Bagley.

For more than 40 years, she has taught quilters of all skill levels, sharing her knowledge of everything from traditional piecing and hand quilting to modern machine quilting and automation.

As the driving force behind Grace Company’s education programs, Karla has helped thousands of quilters grow their skills through in-person classes, online courses, and video instruction. She is the creator of popular educational series such as Tuesdays With Grace and Quilter’s Playground.
Karla’s greatest passion is helping quilters gain confidence, whether they are making their very first quilt or mastering advanced quilting techniques. When she’s not teaching, she loves designing quilt patterns and quilting designs that inspire creativity in quilters everywhere.
