Geraldine’s 11-year photojournalism career at the Los Angeles Times garnered a collaborative Pulitzer Prize. Later, her extensive travel as a photographer and photo editor for an international magazine awakened her desire to connect with women through quilting. Building connections through peer education, personal growth, and institutional development. She now empowers women through inspirational lectures and hands-on workshops at quilt retreats and national quilt shows. Working with women who want to enhance their quilting experience and become top-notch machine quilters, Geraldine shares her knowledge and expertise, enabling quilters to grow in confidence and develop professional, creative machine quilting skills.
