Lori Hernandez is a longtime Baby Lock educator whose passion for sewing began when her daughter was born and quickly grew into a lifelong career. She owned and operated a successful children’s boutique, specializing in custom garments, wedding pieces, and professional alterations experiences that built a strong foundation in garment construction and finishing techniques.

More than 15 years ago, Lori joined the Baby Lock education family, where she discovered the true power and versatility of Baby Lock machines. Since then, she has traveled across the United States teaching Baby Lock classes, events, and hands-on workshops, helping sewists of all skill levels gain confidence and creativity at the machine. Known for her engaging teaching style and practical approach, Lori focuses on empowering students to fully utilize their Baby Lock sergers and coverstitch machines while having fun along the way. She is proud to continue sharing her knowledge through live events and the Serge Fun Club, where education, innovation, and the joy of sewing come together.
