Carol Wilhoit enjoys making small quilted projects as well as quilts. As a retired physician, she brings her technical mind to quilting, finding ways to make the construction process easier while achieving great results. She has refined techniques for building, organizing, and using a fabric stash that make it a joy to have and to use. She enjoys using color, machine piecing and machine quilting. Her quilting patterns have been published in books and magazines.
Carol has been teaching quilting for fifteen years, at quilt shops, quilt guilds and quilt shows. She loves sharing her knowledge and encouraging students as they try new projects and techniques. One of her favorite aspects of teaching is seeing students have “Aha!” moments during which they see how simple changes in technique can help them create better quilts.
