Description

Have you ever wanted to learn an embroidery technique that is hundreds of years old? Tambour embroidery is a couture sewing technique used to make detailed embroidered pieces of all sizes. It's used to make costumes for tv, film and Broadway, as well as in couture fashion.

This class will teach the chain stitch which is the foundation of Tambour and from there we will build upon that foundation with beads and sequins. Since this technique is so unique to itself there is no prior experience needed however dexterity and patience are highly recommended for this technique.
