In this focused class, you’ll learn how to construct a clean, professional collar using the burrito method for a crisp front neckline finish. We’ll begin with a semi-assembled shirt—placket and body pieces ready to go—and walk step-by-step through precise collar installation. A foundational technique for button-up shirts, blouses, jackets, and even coats—perfect for intermediate sewists ready to refine their finishing details.

Student Supply: Thread, fabric scissors, snips, seam ripper, seam guage, pins, Point turner (double pointed knitting needle is acceptable) paper and pencil for note taking.
