Description

Free Motion Quilting is a wonderful way to finish your quilts on your home sewing machine. Join HollyAnne Knight of String & Story as she guides you through the basics of adjusting your tension, maintaining healthy posture, and quilting four foundational FMQ motifs: meander, loopy meander, swirls, and switchbacks. Free motion quilting is a lot like handwriting– a few shapes that, once learned, can be mixed and matched into dozens of motifs. Even if you don’t consider yourself an “artist,” this class will prepare you to finish your own quilts with confidence!
