Do you love the tradition of quilting, but wish the blocks were more in line with Modernity? Join Swan for an intensive workshop opportunity! Bring in an image or drawing of your favorite traditional block and learn to alter the block until you reach a pleasing new design. Swan will guide you through the process of creating cutting directions and a stitching order to ensure your new design is ready for quilting!
I provide a complete kit for this class with all the colored pencils and design materials they need. Students will only need to bring an image of the traditional block they would like to work with.
Kit is Required.
