Description

In 2023, quilters and mathematicians alike fell in love with a quirky new discovery - the Einstein Tile. This thirteen-sided wonder can cover a surface completely, with no gaps and no repeats! (And no, it’s not named after Albert it’s from the German einstein, meaning “one stone.”)

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the playful side of geometry and discover how this hat-shaped tile can be built from kite-shaped EPP units. Then we’ll bring the math to life in fabric form turning clever concepts into colorful, creative designs. Join me for a session that blends art, math, and a little quilting magic you’ll never look at shapes the same way again! 🧵🪡 Skill Level: Can be beginner or more advanced with hand stitching
