In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll master foundational skills—chaining, basic stitches, and finishing—that open the door to endless creativity. Taught in a warm, supportive, encouraging environment, you’ll build confidence with each stitch and be ready to start creating your own handmade projects.
Supply List:
- 1-2 skeins of yarn. The yarn should be:
- Medium/worsted weight (category 4)
- Smooth (not overly fuzzy like chenille or velvet)
- Light & solid color (no black, dark brown, navy blue, dark gray, or multi-colored/variegated yarn)
- Recommended brands: Vanna’s Choice, Red Heart Super Saver, Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn, Loops And Threads
- Crochet Hook size US I-9 / 5.5 mm
- Tapestry Needle (also known as a yarn needle or a darning needle)
- A small pair of scissors
