Description
Four Selvedge Tapestry Weaving introduces participants to the wonderful world of tapestry weaving. Participants will learn the basic terminology and techniques of tapestry weaving such as preparing (warping) the loom, weaving a basic shape, working from a cartoon, and basic color blending. Discussions and demonstrations about best practices, materials, and desired outcomes will be presented during the class.
Participants will have their own loom that they will be able to take home as a part of the workshop fee. All yarn will be provided, but participants may bring additional materials if they desire.
